Official tickets. Tickets for the Royal Alcázar are sold by the Patronato del Real Alcázar, the municipal body that runs the monument, in its official online shop, alcazardesevilla.infoticketing.com, which is the shop linked from the Patronato’s information site, alcazarsevilla.org. General admission costs 15.50 euros, according to the city’s price ordinance that we read on 23 October 2026. The online shop may add a booking fee, and the amount is not published.

The Tiqets listing mentions an audio guide app, but we could not confirm what it contains, so check the product page. Both tickets need a time slot, and the Tiqets ticket is non-refundable according to Tiqets.

The general ticket also includes, according to a note in the ordinance, the Antiquarium, the Museo de la Cerámica de Triana and the Museo Bellver-Casa Fabiola. We did not check how to use them. The prices on the online shop could not be read with our tools, so confirm the total at checkout.
Who pays less, and who enters free?
The reduced ticket is for people over 65 and students aged 14 to 30, according to the Patronato’s visit page, and for holders of the Carnet Joven Europeo aged 14 to 30. The ordinance says students from 13 to 30, so check the age limit. The reduction is now valid for everyone, not only EU citizens, and you show a document at the access control.
Children up to 13 enter free with an adult, according to the ordinance; the visit page says under 13, so check for a child aged 13. The Patronato also lists as free people born or resident in the municipality of Seville, people with a disability of more than 33% and a companion, unemployed people of the province of Seville, authorised researchers and ICOMOS members. All of them need the relevant free ticket and a document. Residents must book in advance and show a document or a residence certificate issued less than 3 months before. According to the shop FAQ, free tickets for people with a disability are collected at the ticket office, subject to availability.
How do I buy and enter?
Online, entry is by time slots of 30 minutes with limited capacity, and you must respect the time on your ticket. Tickets are named: you show an identity card or a passport with the ticket. The shop FAQ says that tickets are bought only through the official shop and, on the day, at the ticket office in the Patio de Banderas, which opens at 9:00 and takes credit cards only. It also says there are no waiting lists, early releases or alternative channels. At the ticket office the same-day quota for each slot is very limited, and it is only for the general visit, not for the Cuarto Real Alto.
Official tickets are not refunded and cannot be changed, not even for illness or an error. Visitors enter by the Puerta del León. Check the opening hours before you choose a date, because the Alcázar is closed on 25 December, 1 and 6 January and Good Friday.
What else can I buy online?
Tiqets is a ticket marketplace and our partner. Official general ticket: 15.50 euros. Entry ticket via Tiqets: 21 euros at the time of writing, with an instant mobile ticket. The Tiqets page for this ticket lists an audio guide app, but its exact content is not confirmed. Tiqets also sells guided tours of the Alcázar, at 35 euros, with guides in English, French, Italian and Spanish according to the product page, and combined products with the cathedral.
The Patronato does not mention Tiqets on the pages we read, and its shop says that tickets are sold only through its own channels, so read the terms of what you buy, in particular the cancellation conditions. Our tickets page lists the options with live prices.
Tickets for the Alcázar and the cathedral
For the cathedral, the official ticket is 13 euros online, according to our sister guide, Seville Cathedral Visit. The two official general tickets together are 15.50 plus 13, which is 28.50 euros, and neither includes a guide. Tiqets sells a guided tour of both monuments in English, about 3.5 hours, at 53.10 euros at the time of writing, a ticket with entries and a guided tour at 65 euros with free cancellation up to 48 hours before, and a Seville Super Combo at 42 euros. Compare them with the official prices before you book.
Which option should I choose?
If you want to go at your own pace, buy the general ticket from the official shop. A Tiqets ticket makes sense if you prefer an instant mobile ticket, a guided tour or a combined ticket with the cathedral, or if you simply prefer to buy through them. Whichever you pick, read how to get there so you reach the Puerta del León at the time on your ticket.
